NOTEWORTHY:
- The Bucs out-shot the Lions 23-2, including 9-2 on goal.
- Marlen Hernandez completed her first clean sheet of the year, making two saves to get the win for Barry.
- Lions starter Isabella Rueda played the first half and allowed two goals, without a save, to take the loss.
- Mapanao played the second half for the Lions, making five saves, including one on a penalty kick in the 65th minute.
- Barry led 4-1 on corners, well.
- Although Hernandez played all 90 minutes in goal, 21 other players saw the field for the Bucs in the opener, including 13 newcomers.

Barry hosts the Sand Sharks of South Carolina-Beaufort on Sunday, Sept. 30 in their first home game.
