ORLANDO, FL-- Barry junior golfer Tereza Zavrelova was named the Sunshine State Conference women's golfer of the week for Mar. 16-22. The award, which is presented by Pollo Compero, is the third of the season for the Bucs and the third individual award of her career.

Zavrelova, captured a first-place finish at +1 (70–75—145), marking her tenth career top-10 finish. She has now placed in the top five in five of eight tournaments this season, continuing a dominant run. Zavrelova led the field in Par-4 scoring as the only player to finish under par (-1) on those holes, while also tying for third on Par-5s. She finished tied for the most birdies in the field with seven and tied for the fewest bogeys. Additionally, she shared the team lead in pars with 23 and played 30 of 36 holes at par or better, highlighting her steady and efficient performance throughout the tournament.

She is currently ranked eighth in NCAA Division II.

The Bucs are playing at the Lynn Invite at Boca Woods in Boca Raton, Fla., next week.
