HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The duo of Machado and Lynch gave Barry the lead in doubles after defeating Laconi and Meunier 6-3.
- The No. 20-ranked team of Cavalleri and Trione followed by securing the doubles point for the Bucs with another 6-3 victory. With the point clinched, the bottom-flight match was left unfinished, and Barry carried a 1-0 lead into singles play.
- Machado led the Bucs to their second point of the match after defeating Meunier 6-2, 6-3
- The number one-ranked Kodjoed followed up with his own win over Igbinovia 6-3, 6-0, to put the Bucs one point away from securing victory over Valdosta.
- No. 30-ranked Lynch sealed the win for Barry, defeating Laconi 6-1, 6-4.
- The No. 25-ranked Trione added another point with a strong performance against No. 53 Bosse, taking the first set in a 7-6(3) tiebreaker before cruising to a 6-1 win in the second.
