ORLANDO, Fla. – Barry University men's tennis earned its second Sunshine State Conference weekly honor of the 2026 season and their third for the 2025-26 season, as #1-ranked sophomore Yan Kodjoed was named the conference's weekly award recipient presented by Pollo Campero for the week of February 23–March 1. Kodjoed received the recognition following his strong performance across three conference matches during the week. This marks the sophomore's second time earning the honor this season.

On Tuesday, February 24, the Bucs opened the week against conference rival Lynn University. Yan Kodjoed played a pivotal role in the victory, contributing two key points. In doubles action, he and partner Antonin Chapuis secured a 6–4 win to clinch the doubles point. Kodjoed then delivered the decisive point in singles, battling through a tiebreaker to seal the overall match for the Bucs. Barry continued its strong run with a 5–2 victory over No. 15-ranked Saint Leo University. Once again, Kodjoed and Chapuis set the tone in doubles, capturing the point with a 7–6(4) tiebreak win. In singles, Kodjoed showcased his resilience, earning a hard-fought three-set tiebreak victory to add another crucial point to the team total. The week concluded on March 1 with a commanding 6–1 win over Eckerd College. Kodjoed and his doubles partner avoided a tiebreak this time, earning a 7–5 victory. In singles play, the Frenchman secured a straight-sets win, 7–5, 7–5, further contributing to the Bucs dominant performance.
