VIERA, Fla. -- A quick trip up to the Space Coast Games resulted in the sixth run-rule victory this season for the Barry Softball team. In just the second ever match up against Ursuline, the result did not change as they run ruled them in 2018 at the Spring Game in Clermont 9-0.

- B1 – After a 1-2-3 top of the first, Ursuline was able to put up a run to take their first and only lead in the game. | Ursuline 1, Barry 0
- T2 – Then the flood gates opened for the Bucs. Barry grabbed the lead and never looked back putting up six in the top of the second. Batting through the order, seven Bucs reached base, Chandler Barry reached twice on a single and hit by pitch. Shelby Prevatte, had the big hit with a bases clearing double. Cameron Marchese, Mya Tucker, and Sarah Langlie each had an RBI-hit as well. | Barry 6, Ursuline 1
- T3 – Langlie had her second of the game, bringing in Mia Lucey and Prevatte to tack on two more. | Barry 8, Ursuline 1
- T4 – The game was out of reach and the offense continued to had quality at bats. Five more runs can in the top of the fourth to enlarge the gap. Tucker had the big blast of the inning for the two-run shot. Lucey collected her first collegiate triple in the inning to right field. | Barry 13, Ursuline 1
- B4 – Ursuline put up two runs in the bottom half as back-to-back doubles drove in runs. | Barry 13, Ursuline 3
- T5 – Barry put the game out of reach with a six-spot in the top of the fifth. Sending twelve hitters to the plate, Chandler once again got two opportunities and delivered. Her first at-bat was a solo shot to get the inning started. In the inning alone, there were seven walks and a hit by pitch for eight free passes in general. | Barry 19, Ursuline 3
- B5 – With the run-rule in affect, Alexis Martin came into relief and had a three-up, three-down inning.
NOTEWORTHY:
- It is the first double digit walks drawn in a game (10) since March 23, 2024, against Lynn (11).
- Eight Bucs accounted for 13 hits. Twelve reached safely at least once.
- Tucker, Barry, Lucey, Prevatte all had two or more hits.
- Tucker extends her hit streak to 12 straight, while reaching base in 25 straight.
- Langlie extends her hit streak to nine.
- Vivian Billard had the win with four innings of work.
- The Buccaneers move to over .500 for the first time this season.
- Overall, the Buccaneers have outscored the Arrows 28-3 in both matchups combined.

The Buccaneers remain on the road and return to SSC action with three-game series at Florida Southern on Friday and Saturday.
