HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Barry took an early lead in doubles with Kodjoed and Chapius taking the first win in a quick 6-1 run
- St.Thomas tied the score with their win over Trione and Cavalleri
- The Bucs complete the win for doubles in a heated match that came down to a tie breaker
- The Bucs took the lead to start the singles matches ahead 1-0
- Trione won his match in two straight sets putting the Bucs ahead 2-0
- Machado then won his match in two straight sets as well to make the lead 3-0
- Kodjoed lost his match which made the score 3-1
- Dillon clinched the match for Barry after winning his match making the score 4-1 with Barry being the winner
- Azoulay completed a tough match to make the score 5-1
- Then after a nail biting final set Chapius was able to come back being down two points in the second set to win his match and make the final score 6-1 with Barry coming out on top
NOTEWORTHY:
- The Bucs have not lost an opening day match since the 2011 season
- The Bucs are on a 17 and 0 win streak against St.Thomas
