LAKELAND, Fla. -- The 17th-ranked Barry women's golf team made a statement at the Lady Moc Classic handing head coach Braydon Bennet his first team win at Grasslands Golf & Country Club on Tuesday. The Bucs shot 301-302-293--896 to top the other 13 ranked teams in the field, including #1 Wingate, #2 Anderson and #8 Nova Southeastern.
Tereza Zavrelova and Leonie Sinnhuber led the way for the Bucs, finishing tied for third place at +4 (220).

NOTEWORTHY:
- Only team in the field that finished in the top-5 of Par 3, Par 4 and Par 5 scoring

- Led the field with the fewest bogeys
- Win was the first for first-year head coach Bennett
- The win was also the first for the Bucs since the 2021-22 season, when they won three times, including the Sunshine State Conference Tournament
