MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- A special day on Cesar Odio Court Saturday afternoon ended on a high note as the Barry Men's Basketball team honored the senior class pregame and gifted them a win. The Buccaneers dominated from start to finish and currently ride a three-game win streak. The also officially clinched a spot in the Sunshine State Conference tournament with tonight's win.

- 1H - It was a fast start for the Buccaneers as they had a 9-0 run in the first two and a half minutes of the game. Deon Perry floated in the first basket of the game after Barry won the initial tip-off. Marko Sarenac then had a five-point run all by himself knocking in the and-one. The Bucs had a double-digit lead for a majority of the half. Perry led the charge with 10 points, Sarenac was right behind with nine points and snagged 10 boards. 2H – Sarenac continued to score draining a three for the first bucket of the second half. Novak Perovic drilled a three from straight away downtown to make it a 20-point game and get the crowd and bench on their feet. Malik Stanley dropped 10 points in the half. Perovic, Sarenac, and Perry all had nine points. The Panthers shot better in the second half at 63-percent and outscored the Bucs 47-44, but it was not enough to get back into the game. | Barry 85, Florida Tech 75
NOTEWORTHY:
- Junior, Sarenac stole the spotlight on the court with his 15 double-double on the year as he had 18 points and 16 rebounds.
- Perry led the seniors and the team with 19 points.
- Perovic led in assist with six and had 11 points, just his third game in double figures.
- Stanley was the last Buc in double figures with 16 on the night and adding three steals on the defensive end.
- Barry is now 12-1 when leading at the half.
