- The Bucs won the bottom two doubles giving them the lead over West Florida.
- The Bucs started the singles 0-1 after their win in the doubles matches.
- In singles, Machado won the Bucs another point after his win over Rafael Sabio 6-4, 6-3.
- Trione gave Barry a 3-0 lead after defeating Rondon 6-4, 6-7.
- Lynch clinched the match for the Bucs after a tough first set but eventual three set win against Neyelov 6(6) -7, 6-4, 6-0
