DAVIE, Fla. – Despite an offensive career day for some, the 23rd ranked Barry Softball team fell in a pair of games at the NSU Softball Stadium. The first game wrapped up three straight against Alabama-Huntsville, where the second game kicked off a three-game stint against West Florida.

HOW IT HAPPENED (UAH):
- T1 | A walk came around to score and gave the Chargers the first lead of the game. I UAH 1, Barry 0
- B1 | Barry was able to regain the run and two more to take the lead. Serah Shafer had a one out bunt single to reach on. Mya Tucker than tripled to left field to bring Shafer in. Chandler Barry then delivered a two-out, two-run shot over the right field fence for the first her first career home run. | Barry 3, UAH 1
- T2 | UAH was able to scratch for run of an RBI-triple to make it a one run game. | Barry 3, UAH 2
- T3 | The Chargers gained their first lead of the game with a walk coming in to score on a triple, and a sacrifice fly to follow. | UAH 4, Barry 3
- T4 | UAH tacked on two more runs on four hits in the inning. With the bases loaded a one-out single drove in two. Damage was limited with back to back ground outs to follow. | UAH 6, Barry 3
- B4 | In the bottom half, Barry was able to tie the game up. Freshmen Vivian Billard and Rachel Rodriguez went back to back on the long ball, hitting their first collegiate home runs. | Barry 6, UAH 6
- T5 | A wild pitch scored the run in the top of the fifth that gave UAH the final lead change. | UAH 7, Barry 6

NOTEWORTHY (UAH):
- Three Buccaneers hit their first collegiate home runs (Barry, Billard, Rodriguez).
- The three home runs ties for eighth in program history in one game.
- UAH scored in six of the seven innings.
- Barry had 10 hits and stranded six on the base path.
- Shafer, Billard, Rodriguez and Cameron Marchese all had multi-hit games.
- The Chargers scored in 14 of the 19 innings throughout the three game series, putting up a crooked number five times.
HOW IT HAPPENED (WEST FLORIDA):
- T1 | West Florida jumped on the scoreboard first with a three-run inning. An infield single came in to score on a triple, it then was followed by a two-run shot. | UWF 3, Barry 0
- B1 | The Buccaneers struck early as they often do, taking the lead in the bottom half. Nearly going through the lineup, Barry scored four runs off five hits, two of which were for extra bases. | Barry 4, UWF 3
- T3 | The Argonaughts put up another three spot in the third to take a 6-4 lead. UWF scored in three straight plate appearances. | UWF 6, Barry 4
- B3 | Barry picked back up one run as Sarah Langlie hit a double and Billard was able to bring her in on her own. | UWF 6, Barry 5
- T5 | West Florida broke it open with nine runs off six hits, the defense committed two errors. | UWF 15, Barry 5
- B5 | Billard had another RBI-single to dirve in a run, but that would be anything to end the game. UWF 15, Barry 6
NOTEWORTHY (WEST FLORIDA):
- Billard went a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate, with three RBI and a run scored.
- Shafer and Rodriguez also had multi-hit games.

The Bucs wil host West Florida on Sunday, February 1 for a double header from Buccaneer Fie, starting at 12:00pm.
