LAKELAND, Fla. — The Bucs opened the ITA Regional Championships on Friday, Oct. 16, competing in both singles and doubles play. After completing the Round of 64 and Round of 32, Barry returned to the courts on Saturday, Oct. 17, for the second day of competition, participating in both main-draw and consolation matches. The Bucs wrapped up the tournament on Sunday, Oct. 18, but fell short in both of their doubles matches to close out the weekend.
Doubles Day Three Results
Simone Cavalleri and Benjamin Meyers advanced to the semifinals after defeating Lee University's Johan Van Wijk and Joris Clermonts, 8-5, in the quarterfinals. The duo faced fifth-seeded Matias Iturbe and Kuzma Gomiziakov of the University of West Alabama in the semifinals, narrowly falling 8-7(8) in a tiebreak. Fifth-seeded Agustin Mastri and Basar Senel also secured a semifinal berth with an 8-1 quarterfinal victory over West Alabama's Federico Iturbe and Jacob Tapia. However, their run ended in the semifinals against Mississippi College's Joshua Hinton and Charles Lefort, falling 8-7(4) in another tiebreak.
Singles Day Two Results
In the main singles, Senel reached the round of 16 but lost to Louay Makke of Lynn University, 7-5, 6-4.
Hugo Papet was also defeated in the round of 16 by Victor Alves from Lynn, losing in the tiebreak 6-2, 2-6(6). Meyers took on the ninth seed, Alejandro Vizoso Ansedes from Mississippi College, and lost 6-1, 6-1 in the round of 16.
Cooper Dillon took on the fifth seed, Enrico Rosellini from Embry-Riddle, and lost 6-5, 6-2 in the round of 16.
Agustin Mastri competed in the consolation singles for the Bucs but was retired by injury.

Doubles Day Two Results
Cavalleri and Meyers defeated the fifth seed, Victor Gaillot and Ricard Novell from Florida Southern, 8-1, to move to the quarterfinals and face Van Wijk and Clermonts from Lee University. To close the day, fifth-seeded Mastri and Senel won in the tiebreak 8-7(9) against Philipp Bosse and Pietro Casciola from Valdosta State University to advance to the quarterfinals tomorrow and face the third seed, Iturbe, and Tapia from West Alabama. Alleno Loup and Dillon were retired injured in consolation doubles.

Singles Day One Results
Senel
headed into the tournament as the tenth seed and defeated Mattia Ricci from Mississippi College in a tiebreak 6-2, 2-6(8), moving on to the round of 32, where he defeated Joshua Nuyts 6-3, 7-5 to move to the round of 16. Papet also won in a tiebreak against Jan Thissen from Valdosta State, 1-6, 6-4(6), then defeated Matia Ruiz 6-4, 6-2. Victor Alves from Lynn University defeated Mastri 7-6(6), 6-3. Meyers took on the fifth-seeded Philipp Bosse from Valdosta State and won 7-5, 6-1 in the round of 64 and moved to the round of 32, where he defeated Kristoffer Dalbak from Rollins College 6-0, 6-2.
Antonin Chapuis defeated Amirali Ghavam from Eckerd 6-3, 6-1, but went on to lose in the round of 32 to Pete Tran from Rollins College 6-3, 6-3. The Final Buc to compete in singles was Dillon, who defeated Mateu Joan Ramis from West Alabama 6-3, 6-3, then went on to defeat Florian Walcher from Mississippi College 3-6, 6-1(2).
