LAKELAND, Fla. – The 11-match win streak comes to a close as the ninth-ranked Buccaneer women's volleyball team falls to the Florida Southern Mocs at the Jenkins Field House in five sets. It's the first Sunshine State Conference loss on the year for Barry.

- Set One – A four-point run gave Barry some early spacing. Back-to-back blocks from Ivana Zujovic as she paired with Valeriya Kozlova and Veronika Eremeeva set the tone. Eremeeva and Kozlova also picked up kills in the run. Another 4-0 rally stewed just a point after as Kozlova had two straight service aces. The set ended on a 12-2 run by the Bucs. - Set Two – It was a fight to the finish in set two. Six ties and four lead changes led the way. The Mocs had a three-point run late that gave them the space they needed to tie up the match. Barry was held to a sub .100 hitting percentage. | FSC 25, Barry 19
- Set Three – Barry was back in the drivers seat after set three. Zujoiv hit back to back services aces. Four straight errors from the Moca ended the set. Five different Bucs collected a kill. FSC swung negative at -.024 and did not commit a single block. | Barry 25, FSC 15
- Set Four – In looking to put the match away, Barry started off on the right note with a kill from Kozlova. The Bucs held an 8-4 advantage before the game started to shift. A 6-2 run from Florida Southern brought them back into it. A winner take all fifth set was forced after a 9-2 rally. | FSC 25, Barry 16
- Set Five - Florida Southern stayed hot with three straight to open the set. Barry battle from a 5-1 deficit to knot it up at six-all and overtaking the lead at 7-6. After trading off points at the end, the Mocs were the ones who could sting together the final two points to claim the match. There were seven ties and six lead changes. | FSC 15, Barry 13

- Kozlova led with 15 kills, she picked up a double-double with 10 digs.
- The sophomore added three aces and four blocks in the match.
- Eremeeva was right behind with 14 kills, she added two blocks and an ace.
- Seven different Buccaneers recorded a kill.
- It's the second fifth-set loss for the Bucs this season.

Barry will get right back to it against #3 Tampa on Saturday afternoon.
