MIAMI SHORES, Fla. — Sunshine State Conference (SSC) action beings this weekend for the ninth-ranked Barry University Women's Volleyball team with two rivalry matches. First against County-Line Cup opponent, Nova Southeastern, from thee Health and Sports Center and then roll into a top-10 match-up the next day at top-ranked Lynn in Boca Raton, FL.

• The Bucs are one of 11 teams remaining in Division II that are undefeated.
• A Buccaneer leads in five of the seven main categories listed on the SSC Statistics page.
• Valeriya Kozlova leads in hitting percentage at .436.
• Veronika Eremeeva leads in kills per set (4.27), service aces per set (0.86), and points per set (5.50).
• Ester Pushkarov leads in blocks per set at 1.50.
• Eremeeva, Kozlova, and Pushkarov place in the top-10 nationally in their respective stat categories listed above.

AWARDS SHOW

• Barry has brought home both SSC Offensive Player of the Week honors so far (Veronika Eremeeva and Valeriya Kozlova)
• Ester Pushkarov used the UP North Tournament to earn SSC Defense Player of the Week Honors.
• Kozlova was named the AVCA DII Player of the Week on September 23rd.

COMPETITIVE CONFERENCE

• Three teams in the SSC remain undefeated: Barry, Lynn, and Tampa.
• Three teams are mentioned in the latest AVCA Coaches' Poll with Lynn at no. 1, Tampa at no. 3, and Barry no. 9.
