HOW IT HAPPENED (NSU):
- B1 | Alexis Martin sent in a hyped up Buccaneer offense after striking out back to back Sharks to end the top of the first. Two infield singles saw Bunn and Langlie reach base in position for Figueroa. The senior squared one up to left field and brought in both runners while advancing to third on the throw home after the double. A perfectly executed bunt from Mac Stone-Folmar, meant to be a squeeze play, had all runners safe with Figueroa scoring. I Barry 3, NSU 0
- B6 | A costly mistake by the Sharks second baseman would give Barry an insurance run, as a sacrifice bunt from Rushton to move over Tucker saw the ball sail to an empty left field. This allowed Tucker to ge tup and score from second after the failed backdoor attempt. This would later prove to be the difference maker in the game. | Barry 4, NSU 0
