Playing with new partner Bernardo Costa, Miguel Cabrera pulled out a 6-4 win over 36th-ranked Gabriele Felline and Time Reidel at #2.

- The other four matches all split sets.
- After winning the first set at #2 Felline dropped the second to #11 Sebastian Rondon, but recovered to win 6-2, 1-6, 6-4.
