HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Barry claimed the early doubles point with convincing wins on Courts #2 and #1. Gabriele Felline and Tim Riedel, ranked 40th, dominated Mason Cisco and Enrico Rosellini 6-1 on Court #2, while 39th-ranked Leo Caill and Adam Lynch secured a 6-4 win on Court #1 over Joshua Nuyts and Michele Iftimie to clinch the doubles point. Embry-Riddle picked up a victory on Court #3, but Barry's early control ensured the 1-0 team lead heading into singles play.
