HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. -- The 30-ranked Barry Buccaneers men's golf team finished day one of the Sunshine State Conference Championship tied for second place after carding 291 (+3).  

The field consist of 10 teams and 50 players. 

NOTEWORTHY:

• Totaled 55 pars, 14 birdies, and 1 Eagle.
• Tied second in Par 3 holes with an even score. 
• The Bucs are placed in third for Par 3 holes with a +11 score. 
• The Bucs have placed in third for Par 5 holes, their third top 5 placing of the day, with a score of -3. 

ON THE HORIZON:

The Bucs will play the second round tomorrow.
