BOCA RATON, Fla. – In a mid-afternoon Saturday double header at Spanish River Athletic Park, Barry Softball picked up their third Sunshine State Conference sweep of the season. The Buccaneers took down Lynn for their fifth SSC series win and improve tp 13-5 in league play.

HOW IT HAPPENED (GAME ONE):
- B1 | Lynn grabbed the lead first for the second day in a row. A single, then solen base came around to score on another single. | Lynn 1, Barry 0
- T2 | The offense then kicked into geaar putting up six in the top of the second to the lead. There were four extra base hits in the inning with two doubles and two triples. Barry batted around the lineup as Sofia Chamorro started the inning with a lead off walk and found herself back at the plate. Becka Mellor and Harper Bunn picked up the two-RBI triples. | Barry 6, Lynn 2
- B4 | Lynnn scratched for two runs in the bottom of the fourth to cut their deficit in half. Similar to the first inning a single moved over into scoring position with a stolen base and then scored again on the following single. Awild pitch and throwing error then aided the second run. | Barry 6, Lynn 3
- T6 | Mellor recorded her seconf triple of the game and brought home Brooklyn Rushton early in the inning. Mya Tucker then followed with an RBI single. Mac Stone-Folmar capped off the inning with a bunt single that scored Tucker from third to continue to pack onto the lead. | Barry 9, Lynn 3
- B6 | A walk came around to score on a drop on third strike wild pitch for the Fight Knights final run. | Barry 9, Lynn 4
NOTEWORTHY (GAME ONE):
- Haelee Angelico nearly went the distance throwing six innings, improving to 7-5.
- Alexis Martin came in the seventh and shut the door, facing the minimum three batters on 10 pitches.
- The Barry offense had five extra bases hits with two doubles and three triples.
- All nine starters recorded a hit. It was the 13th 10+ hits in a game for the team.
- Mellor, Bunn, and Stone-Folmar all had multi-hit games. Mellor led as the lone with three.
HOW IT HAPPENED (GAME TWO):
- T1 | For the first time in the series, Barry jumped out and grabbed the lead first. Sarah Langlie has a two-out single. She was brought home on an innside thee park home run from Sofia Chamorro. | Barry 2, Lynn 0
- T3 | Brooklyn Rushton had herself a two-out two-RBI double that put two more up on the board for Barry. | Barry 4, Lynn 0
- T7 | One more run came across afte a few quiet innings. Chamorro walked and was pinch ran by Bri Pellicone. Pellicone used her speed to steal second and the scored on a two-single from Chandler Barry. | Barry 5, Lynn 0
NOTEWORTHY (GAME TWO):
- Samantha Rosenberger went the distance for her fifth complete game of the year.
- She did not give up a base on balls, for the 13th time this year. The sophomore also marked a new career-high in strike outs with six. Overall she had 11 against Lynn on the series.
- It was the 14th 10+ hits in a game for the team.
- Barry out-hit Lynn 11-6 in the game, but did strand more base runners 7-5.
- Barry and Rushton had multi hit games with three and two, respectively.
- It is just Barry's second career three hit game.

Barry return home next weekend to continue conference play, they host Rollins for the three-game series, beginning Friday, April 4th.
