DADE CITY, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers men's golf team finished day one of the Saint Leo Invitational ahead of the pack at first place after carding 282-278--560 (-16).
The field consist of 18 teams and 99 players.
NOTEWORTHY:
- The Bucs totaled 99 pars and 41 birdies, which led the field.
- Barry led the field on both par-4 and par-5 holes.
- Giorgio Celani carded -5 on par-4 holes, tying for first among all golfers at the event.
- Celani's 12 birdies led the team and were second overall.
- Anthony Garcia and Ethan Gough tied for the team lead with 21 pars.
ON THE HORIZON:
The Bucs will play the third round tomorrow.
