HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Buccaneers started strong by sweeping the doubles, earning the team doubles points.
- #1 Alina Michalitsch and #10 Andrea Di Palma made their season debuts with straight set victories. Louane Lutringer and Dinara Alloiarova won in their first set in the singles matches and then went on to win in straight sets as well.
- Ailen Crespo clinched the win for the Bucs at Singles Court No. 6.
- Maria Tatarnikova was the last of the Bucs to finish up play and after a 1-6 first set loss, and climbing back to win 6-2, she fell in the last set in a close match 10-8 for the final.
NOTEWORTHY:
- The Bobcats were ranked #10 in the NAIA rankings.
