ITA Releases Division II Men's and Women's Rankings

MIAMI, Fla.- The ITA Division II men's and women's collegiate tennis rankings were released on Wednesday, Nov.12 along with the regional rankings. With two Bucs from the men's team being ranked in singles and three Bucs from the women's team ranked in singles. For the doubles rankings two women's teams ranked both nationally and regionally and two male teams are ranked regionally.

Two male Bucs were also ranked top five for singles in the region, and two female Bucs were also ranked top five in singles in the region. Barry competes in one of the hardest regions for Division II.

National Rankings (Singles)

Yan Kodjoed is ranked number one overall after his impressive season where he won both the ITA Regional Championship and the ITA Cup. Adam Lynch is ranked 11 after making it to the semi-finals of the ITA Regional championship.

Dana Heiman is ranked third after completing in both the singles and doubles of the ITA Regional Championship and the ITA Cup. She made it to the finals for women's singles in the ITA regional Championship. Viktoriia Dema is also ranked No. 18. Lastly, Alina Michalitsch is ranked in the 41st spot.

National Rankings (Doubles)

For the doubles rankings Heimen and Anastasia Nikolova who competed and made it to the final in both the ITA Cup and the ITA Reginal are ranked third. Ailen Crespo and Jenifer Anger are ranked 18 overall.

Regional Rankings (Singles)

Kodjoed is also ranked number one the region for men's singles with Lynch being ranked third.

Heimen is ranked second in the region for women's singles and Dema is ranked number seven, while Michalitsch is ranked number 10 out of 20.

Regional Rankings (Doubles)

In the region Anonin Chapius and Leo Caill are ranked number six while Thomas Machado and Yan Kodjoed are ranked at 10.

Heimen and Nikolova ranked third in the region and Crespo and Anger ranked fifth out of the 10 doubles teams that are ranked.
