MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers take on the top-seeded and 11th-ranked Nova Southeastern Sharks on Monday in the Sunshine State Conference women's soccer tournament at the NSU Soccer complex in Davie, Fla.

The Bucs earned 10 points in league play, going 1-2-7. All seven draws and their win over Lynn were shutouts. The Sharks claimed the top spot with 24 points, going 7-0-3.
NSU took the regular-season battle 6-0 on Oct. 8. Overall in the series, Barry leads 24-9-6. In the SSC Tournament, the teams have split two games, with NSU winning 2-1 in the 2016 semifinals at Saint Leo and Barry taking the 2018 championship game 6-0 in Miami Shores.
The Sharks are the top offensive team in the league (53 goals in 16 game/3.313 per game) and second in defense (8 goals/0.50 per game). Barry is tied for seventh in goals scored (15 in 18 games/0.83 per game) and fifth in defense (16 goals/0.89 per game).
