MIAMI, Fla. -- The Barry Swimming get ready for the final stretch of their regular season with a Double Dual Meet against their SSC rivals, Lynn and Tampa.

The women's team fought hard but faced tougher competition from Tampa and Lynn in today's meet. In the 200 Medley Relay, Barry A finished with a time of 1:52.79, while Barry B recorded 1:58.34, both trailing Tampa's dominant squad. In individual events, Diana Suprun secured 5th place in the 100 Butterfly with a time of 1:00.16, and Chloe Skelt also earned 5th place in the 100 Breaststroke at 1:07.75. In the sprints, Suprun was the top performer for Barry in the 50 Free, finishing in 25.30, followed by Jenna Beck at 26.34 and Ava McCarthy at 27.72. The women's 200 Free relay team clocked in at 1:44.37, rounding out a good effort in relay events despite falling short of Tampa's winning performance. Despite the challenging meet, the team demonstrated resilience and potential for growth in their bright futures.

The men's team delivered several strong performances, though Tampa and Lynn proved too much to overcome. In the 200 Medley Relay, Barry A finished 5th with a time of 1:33.67, while Tampa dominated the event. Balazs Ament was a standout performer, finishing 3rd in the 1000 Freestyle with a time of 9:59.62 and another 3rd place finish in the 400 IM at 4:15.62. In the sprints, Louis Ainley placed 4th in the 50 Free with a time of 21.73, and Roland Nagy secured 5th in the 100 Backstroke with a time of 51.47. The men's 200 Free relay team wrapped up the day with a time of 1:31.84, trailing behind Tampa's dominating lineup. In spite of their devastating loss, the team fought valiantly and will look to bring their best in the regular season finale against Kaiser.
