BOCA RATON, Fla. -- Barry Women's Basketball seems to be heating up since the new year began. Tonight's win over arch-rival Lynn makes it the third straight for the Buccaneers.

- 1Q - Lynn jumped out to the first lead and held it through the first five and a half minutes of the quarter. Kyrstin Green hit the scoreboard flipping triple that gave Barry the lead that would hold the remaining of the game. - 2Q - Barry scored in three of their first four possessions of the quarter, extending their lead into double digits within the first minute and a half. 12 of the 19 points scored in the period were in the paint for the Buccaneers. - 3Q - The third quarter favored Lynn as they outscored Barry 19-14. A 7-0 run by the Fighting Knights tied things up at 51-all. Audrey Jennings laid in the buzzer beater to regain the lead heading into the final frame. | Barry 53, Lynn 51
- 4Q - A block by Kayla Lindsey opened the period that led to a fast-break layup for Jennings. The defense really picked up as Green stole the very next possession, which led to another bucket by Jennings. Emma Wallhoff tacked onto the lead with a three-point basket pushing the lead back to nine. Both teams traded baskets, but the Buccaneers never allowed it to get within two possessions. NOTEWORTHY:
- It was another outstanding game from Jennings as she led all scorers with 27 points. She hit 10-of-18 from the field, 2-of-4 from three-point range and 5-of-7 from the line.
- It was the 10th time that Jennings topped 20 points this season.
- She got solid help from the rest of the team as Kaliyah Morales went 5-of-10 from the field and scored 15 points.
- Wallhoff and Green chipped in with double-digit performances themselves going 10 apiece.
- Kayla Lindsey led all players with eight boards.
- Gomes narrowly missed a triple-double, with 10 rebounds and nine assists.
- The Bucs led 17-6 in fast-break points, and 6-1 in blocks.
- It is the second straight win for the Bucs in the de Hoernle Center.

The Bucs will return home and take on Eckerd, Saturday January 18 with tip set at 2:00pm from the Health & Sports Center.
