LAKELAND, Fla. -- Buccaneer men's tennis players Stanislas De Samucewicz, Elie Azoulay, Adam Lynch, Hayze Loop, Leo Caill, and Yan Kodjoed all traveled to Lakeland, Fla., to compete in the ITA South Regional Championships at the Beerman Family Tennis Complex.

SINGLES:

Stanislas De Samucewicz (Barry) was defeated by the number one seeded player, Alex Benichou Blanchard (Mississippi) in straight sets 6-0, 6-0 in the round of 16.

Yan Kodjoed (Barry) defeated Edgar Destouet in straight sets 6-2, 6-1 in the round of 16. Yan would then face the number two seeded player, Boruch Skierkier before falling to him in sets of 1-4 in the Quarterfinals.

CONSOLATION GAMES:
Hayze Loop (Barry) defeated Simon Luigs (Montevallo) with a score of 8-3 in the consolidation round of 32, Hayze would advance with a BYE, and go on to defeat Milan Vistontai (Palm Beach Atlantic) in a close match with a final score of 8-6 in the consolidation round of 16. Hayze would go on to fall to Dylan Adrianaly in the Quarterfinals round with a final of 3-8.

DOUBLES:

De Samucewicz/Azoulay (Barry) were defeated by Rafael Sabio/Alex Benichou Blanchard (Mississippi) 8-5 in the Round of 16.
