LAKELAND, Fla. -- Buccaneer men's tennis players Stanislas De Samucewicz, Elie Azoulay, Adam Lynch, Hayze Loop, Leo Caill, and Yan Kodjoed all traveled to Lakeland, Fla., to compete in the ITA South Regional Championships at the Beerman Family Tennis Complex.

SINGLES:

Stanislas De Samucewicz (Barry) defeats Russel George (Florida Southern) in straight sets 7-6, 6-1 in the round of 64 and faced Kodai Kato (St. Leo) in round of 32, defeating him in sets 6-3, and 6-0 to advance to round of 16.

Caill (Barry) defeated Enrico Rosellini in three sets, 6-1, 2-6, 11-9 to advance to the round of 32 before falling to Takeshi Taco in three sets, 4-6, 6-2, 10-1 to advance to round of 16.

In the Round of 32 Loop was defeated by Samuel Frizelle (Florida Southern) 6-3, 6-0.

In Round of 64, Azoulay (Barry) defeated Giuseppe Bonaiuti (Auburn-Montgomery) in straight sets 6-3, 6-4 to advance to the Round of 32 where he fell to Strauss Mathieu (West Florida) 2-6, 2-6.

Lynch defeated Tom Gutermann (Spring Hill) 6-2, 6-0 to advance to the round of 32. In the Round of 32 Lynch was defeated Jan Skerbatis (Valdosta) 3-6, 1-6.

Yan Kodjoed (Barry) defeats Milan Vistontai (Palm Beach) in straight sets 6-2, 6-1 in the round of 64 and faced Chris Fok Kow (Florida Southern) in round of 32, defeating him in sets 6-2, and 6-4 to advance to round of 16.

DOUBLES:

The doubles team of Roberto Campoverde/Simone Cavalleri (Barry) were defeated by Pietro Cappellaro/Pete Tran (Rollins) 8-2 in the Round of 32.

De Samucewicz/Azoulay (Barry) defeated Rafael Lima/Matthew Pirie (Spring Hill) 8-4 to advance to the Round of 16.
