Men's Soccer Beats Hawks and Weather For First Win Of The Season

Bucs get goals from three different players

MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Barry men's soccer team battled the elements as well as the St. Anselm Hawks to a 3-1 victory at Buccaneer Field on Sunday.

SUMMARY:

  • 24:37 - Barry got on the board first. Lucas Silva sent a ball up from the back deep into the Hawks box where freshman Juan Pablo Gorrin neatly touched it around keeper David Hood and scored into the empty net. | Barry 1 St. Anslem 0

NOTEWORTHY:

  • Rafael Furlani picked up his first win of the season, making four saves.
  • Hood took his third loss, making three saves, but allowing three goals.
  • For all three Bucs, it was their first career goal.
