DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers rallied to take the rubber game of their Sunshine State Conference baseball series over the Embry-Riddle Eagles on Saturday at Sliwa Stadium. The Eagles won the first game 5-4 in 13 innings, but the Bucs responded with a resounding 12-4 win in the rubber game to take the series.

NOTEWORTHY:
- Zapata (1-3) took the loss for the Bucs in the opener. He worked a season-high 6.0 innings, allowing just the one run on seven hits and a walk.
- Joe Balsam (4-2) allowed the Bucs to tie the game in the ninth, but set down the last 13 batters he faced to earn the win.Â
- Anthony Bennetti (1-4) worked two scoreless innings in relief of starter Frank II Gonzalez. Bennetti held the Eagles without a hit, although he walked three and struck out three.
- Tyler Donay (1-2) got the start for the Eagles, but gave up three runs on four hits and two walks in two innings.
- The Eagles used five pitchers in the rubber game, and Barry scored at least one run on each of them.
- Wickeri went 5-for-10 with a double and five RBI, to lead the Bucs at the plate.Â
- Rodriguez went 5-for-12 with two runs and two RBI. Forchic was 4-for-10 with four RBI.
- Sanchez was 4-for-8 with four runs scored.
- Bruno went 5-for-11 to pace the Eagles.
