LARGO, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers women's golf team is tied for ninth place at the SSC Championships after a round of carding 321 (+33) at the Bayou Club on Sunday afternoon. 

NOTEWORTHY:

• Totaled 43 pars and six birdies as a team in the first round. 
• Sydney Grimes is tied for second in par-5 scoring among all golfers (-1). 

ON THE HORIZON:

The Bucs will play the second round tomorrow morning.
