HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Wayne State was able to get on the board first after winning the doubles point, by securing victories at Doubles No.1 and No. 2.
- The Bucs made up ground after Riedel,B. Rieme and Caill all won in straight-sets at Singles No. 3, 5 and 6.
- WSU was able to get victories at Singles No. 1 and 2.
- With the match tied 3-3 it came down to Singles No. 4, the match was the lone one to go to three sets where D. Rieme ran away with a 6-2 victory to secure a semifinals birth.
NOTEWORTHY:
- The Bucs advance to the semifinals for the first time since 2022, after falling short in the quarterfinals in the 2023 season.
- This is the Bucs fourth time playing in the ITA National Indoor Championships. They have won a championship (2022) and was runner-up in 2020.
- Both David and Bastien Rieme remain undefeated on the year in singles.

The Bucs will take on #6 Columbus State in the ITA Indoor Nationals Quarterfinals tomorrow Feb. 16, starting at 5:30 p.m.
