Men's Basketball Edged At Florida Southern

Lakeland, Fla - James Montgomery matched his career-high with 19 rebounds on Saturday evening, adding a team-best 17 points in the Barry University Men's Basketball team's 98-88 setback at Florida Southern

HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • 1H | Barry scored the opening points of the contest on a layup, responding to a Florida Southern basket with one of their own before a 10-0 Mocs' run made it 12-4 with 16:59 remaining in the half. The Bucs were held without a run of consecutive baskets until a 7-0 run midway through the frame made it 36-22 with 6:46 left in the first half. Florida Southern responded to Barry's rally with eight-straight points, their last run of the half while heading into the break ahead 53-36.
