WINTER PARK, Fla. — Barry Volleyball falls in five sets to Rollins on the road Friday evening. The Bucs won sets one and four before falling in the tiebreaker. Despite the loss, there were records to be celebrated.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Set One - Barry dominated the first set with 14 kills and a .370 hitting clip and holding Rollins to seven kills and swining .034. | Barry 25, Rollins 14
- Set Two - The Bucs had an early 12-7 lead, that was quickly erased by a 7-0 run from Rollins that flipped the scoreboard. Barry continued to stay in the fight until the 19-19 tie was broke and the Tars ran off with the set win. | Barry 21, Rollins 25
- Set Three - It was a tight contest trading points and leads throughout, Rollins closed it out however with three straight kills. | Barry 20, Rollins 25
- Set Four - Barry had to work from behind this set but did so to keep the match alive. Eremeeva held serve while adding a kill and ace to make it 17-16. An 8-5 advantage held the Bucs in front to send the match to a fifth set. | Barry 25, Rollins 21
- Set Five - Barry came out hot with back-to-back blocks to open the set. Rollins retaliated with a 5-0 run to make it 5-2. The Bucs worked to get itback tied at 11 and 13. The Tars earned back-to-back points to close it out and take the ser and match. | Barry 13, Rollins 15
NOTEWORTHY:
- Veronika Eremeeva earned her first career triple-double with 13 kills, 11 digs, and 11 blocks. All three are career-highs for the freshmen.
- Eremeeva had 10 block assists which ties the record for most in a single match. Her 11 total blocks is tied for fourth most in a match, the first player since 2001 to complete the feat. It also ties for the most in a 5-set match, the first time since 1990 to be accomplished.
- Ivana Žujovic was right behind Eremeeva with nine block assists. A career-high for the sophomore, and ties for third highest in match.
- Varvara Osychenko recorded her 15th career double-double, second this season with 11 kills and 20 digs. The 20 digs are a season-high.
- Diana Akopova had a team high 16 kills in the match.
- The team's 18 blocks is tied for fourth most in a match, the last time being in 2019. It is second most in a five set match in program history.
