Women's Soccer Draws 1-1 With Sharks

Both goals on penalty kicks

MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Barry women's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw with the Nova Southeastern Sharks in Sunshine State Conference play at Buccaneer Field on Sunday.

  • The teams combined for 18 corner kicks, with the Sharks taking 10.
  • Fernanda Mayrink made nine saves for the Bucs, while Emilie Schroeder had five for NSU as they tied 1-1.

Barry visits the arch-rival Lynn on Wednesday, Oct. 16 in the conference match.
