LAKELAND, Fla. -- Barry's Adam Lynch advanced to the single semifinals on Saturday at the Wynee Warden Tennis Center. 

SINGLES: 

Joao Ferreira (Barry) fell in the Round of 16 to Takeshi Taco (Valdosta State) 6-2, 6-2. 

Lynch defeated George Russell (Florida Southern) 6-3, 6-7(4), 12-10 to advance to the quarterfinals. In the quarters, Lynch defeated Fernando Alonso (Embry-Riddle) 6-1, 6-3 to advance to the semifinals. 

Tim Riedel fell in the Round of 16 to Christian Wedel (Valdosta State) 3-6, 6-3, 7-10. 

DOUBLES: 

The doubles team of Leo Caill/Simone Cavalleri (Barry) fell in the Round of 16 to Taco Takeshi/Rodrigo Carvalho (Valdosta State) 8-2. 

David Rieme/Ferreira (Barry) fell in the Round of 16 to Jonathan Olive-Blanco/Gianmarco Amastiste (Lynn) 8-5.
