ALBANY, Ga. -- The Barry Buccaneers opened the season with a 6-0 win over the Albany State Golden Rams on Saturday morning at ASU West Campus Field in women's soccer action.

NOTEWORTHY:
- Maya Caon got the start in goal, playing 68 minutes to earn her first win as a Buc, before being relieved by Emily Parrott. Neither keeper faced a shot on goal.
- Daphne Estrada allowed six goals for the Rams, but also made 14 saves.
- Barry out-shot Albany State 38-1 and 20-0 on goal.
- The last time Barry had six different players score was last season against Florida Memorial, when seven found the back of the net against the Lions, in a game that was shortened to 80 minutes.
