DENTON, Texas -- The Barry Buccaneers women's golf team teed off their season at the DBU Classic on Wild Horse Golf Course. The Bucs sit tied for seventh place, carding a +5 (293). 

The Bucs are just four strokes from first place. 

The field contains a total of 16 teams and 83 players. Of those teams, there are three SSC teams including Barry, Tampa and Saint Leo. 

NOTEWORTHY:

• Daniela Ballesteros leads the Bucs, she is tied for third at -3. 
• Barry leads the field in par-3 scoring at -3. 
• The Bucs are three under on par-5s.   
• Bucs totaled 56 pars and 14 birdies.
• Ballesteros is tied for second in par-5 scoring at -2.
