MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers played to a 1-1 draw with the 22nd-ranked Southern New Hampshire Lady Penmen in women's soccer action from Buccaneer Field on Saturday afternoon.

- 73:48 - The Bucs surrendered the equalizer in the 74th minute. Liv Gantelius took a point-blank shot at barry keeper Maya Caon, which she was able to bolck, but the rebounds came right back to Gantelius, who quickly poked it on the back of the net to tie the game at 1-1.
NOTEWORTHY:
- Barry maintained the bulk of the possession, 63-37, with most of it in the Lady Penmen's defensive third.
- The Bucs out-shot SNHU 16-7 and 7-5 on goal.
- Caon had four saves for the Bucs, including a nice 1-v-1 chance in the 24th minute on a breakaway by Victoria Roulston.
- Claudia Keith had five saves for SNHU, and was aided by Lauren Conti, who swept a ball off the line after a corner kick.
- The tie snapped a two-game winning streak for the Bucs in the series. Barry had won 3-2 in Manchester in 1995 and 4-0 at home in 2005.
- The goal for SNHU snapped a 232-minute scoreless streak for Caon and was the first goal she had allowed this year.
