MIAMI SHORES, Fla. (Saturday, March 25, 2023) -- The Barry University softball team fell for the fifth straight time in Sunshine State Conference (SSC) action, dropping a 7-2 decision to Rollins College at Buccaneer Field in the final of a three-game series on Sunday afternoon in Miami Shores, Florida. Taylor Hartman (W, 6-0) pitched 6 and 2/3 innings in relief for her sixth win of the season. Haelee Angelico (L, 5-6) threw a complete game for the Buccaneers while striking out seven Tars in the defeat. Ashley Troutman had three infield singles, three stolen bases, and three runs scored at the top of the Tars' lineup.

Brie Michelli had another RBI with a single to center and then she stole second. - Barry had gone unbeaten against Rollins over a 10-year span (4/6/1987 - 4/21/1997) that included 40 wins.
- The Tars currently have a 13-game win streak against he Bucs.
- Mac Stone-Folmar went 1-for-2 with a walk and a run scored at the top of the Buccaneer lineup.
- Both Buccaneer runs came after leadoff walks - Stone-Folmar in the 1st and Alexis Bailey in the 2nd.
- Haelee Angelico allowed just three earned runs on nine hits while striking out seven. She walked one and hit two Tars.
