MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The top-ranked Barry Buccaneers women's tennis team defeated the #2 Nova Southeastern Sharks 4-3 on Wednesday at the Buccaneer Tennis Center.
This is the second straight match that the Bucs played the #2 team in the nation. The Bucs survived a scare, being down 3-2, Daniela Farfan tied it up with a victory at singles #4. It was up to Deniz Khazan to clinch the match after being down a set. Khazan pulled off the win in a thrilling match that came down to a 6-6 tiebreaker to keep the Bucs undefeated season alive.
