MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The junior varsity Bucs ran their record to 2-0 with a 10-4 win over Florida Palm on Wednesday.

- B2 - The Bucs took the lead in the bottom of the second, taking advantage of a pair of Owl errors. Freddie Rodriguez reaceh on a field's choice and advanced to second on a throwing error by the Owls. CJ Bussell followed with a single to shallow right, leaving runners at second and third. Akira Nakamura dropped a bunt single down the third base line to score Rodriguez and Bussell came home with the throw at first was muffed. | Barry 2, FPU 1
- B3 - Barry sent 10 men to the plate in the third, scoring five runs. Aramis Ramirez, Jr., walked and stole second. He scored on a double by Lee-Anthony Santiago. After a wild pitch, Santiago scored on a fly ball. The Bucs re-started the rally with three straight walks to Brodie Jellum, Rodriguez and CJ Bussell. NOTEWORTHY:
- Billy Eich (2-0) got the win in the split game again. He worked the first two innings, allowing a run on two hits and stiking out one.
- Jesus Molina (0-1) took the loss for the Owls. He work 1.1 innings, allowing seven runs (four earned) on three hits and five walks.
- Santiago led the Bucs at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two doubles and four RBI.
- Nakamura was 2-for-3 with two RBI.
- Palmar and Marrero each had two hits for the Owls.
