MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The junior varsity Bucs got a couple of great pitching performances in sweeping the Keiser Seahawks 1-0 and 4-1 on Monday at Feinbloom Field. Barry pitchers allowed one unearned run on five hits and nine walks, while striking out 20.

NOTEWORTHY:
- Billy Eich (3-0) picked up the win in the split game opener. He worked three innings, allowing a hit and four walks and struck out five.
- Douglas Schapley worked a perfect seventh, striking out two, to earn his second save.
- Grant Paprella (1-1) took the loss for Keiser in the opener, allowing just an unearned run on five hits and striking out five.
- In game two, Daniel Lipka (1-0) worked four shutout innings, giving up two hits and a walk and striking out seven.
- Carson Mullen (0-1) went three innings, allowing two runs on four hits and a walk to take the loss.
- Bussell had three hits for the Bucs, including a triple and a double. Jellum had a homer and two RBI.
