ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- The Barry University softball team split its non-league doubleheader with Flagler College after a 4-1 decision in the nightcap at Flagler Field. The hosts scored a run in the bottom of the 1st of both contests. Barry took a 3-1 in its half of the 4th but Flagler regained its lead in the bottom half. Game One pitching decisions: Jordan Sheets (W, 2-0) v. Haelee Angelico (L, 2-3). After giving up an early run in Game Two, Cassandra Lee settled in for a 4-1 final to maintain her unblemished season record (W, 5-0). Mac Stone-Folmar tied the game with a single up the middle in the 3rd inning before Rylee Lord's second homer of the season in the 4th put the Buccaneers on top. Lee added a two-run double in the 5th. Maci Barnhart earned her second save of the season while Madelyn Wise (L, 0-3) suffered her third defeat.
