Barry forced 11 turnovers and had seven steals, led by two for Malik Stanley. Sean Houpt made just one 3-pointer for the visitors, but it was so far away it could have been from Melbourne. - 2H - The Buccaneers could not get their halfcourt offense untracked with the swarming Panther defense. Isaiah Washington started the scoring with a 3-pointer for a 12-point Barry advantage, but Darragh O'Sullivan responded with his own trey. Florida Tech engineered a 15-5 run to pull within two, 45-43, at 12:58. Nobles' dunk following a Buccaneer turnover put the Panthers on top, 57-55, with 6:27 remaining in regulation. The Panther lead grew to six (64-58) when Houpt hit his layup with 2:35 on the clock. Williams went coast-to-coast after James Montgomery grabbed a defensive board to cut the deficit to four. Washington blocked a second-chance shot by Noble and Williams again had a layup the other way. Williams then created a turnover that led to a Montgomery game-tying layup. Both teams had possessions in the closing seconds but could not find the basket. | Barry 64, Florida Tech 64
- 2H - Barry won the tip and Nick Anderson drained a 3-pointer from in front of his bench. O'Sullivan converted a Noble rebound into a layup and on the next Panther possession O'Sullivan hit a triple. Montgomery's layup at 1:16 tied the score at 71-71. Noble's free throw and two subsequent baskets gave Florida Tech a five-point lead, 76-71, before Washington's 3-pointer had Barry knocking on the door once more. The visitors, who went 18-for-24 from the line, missed their final three free throws and Tyler Hawkins had his seventh rebound to bring up the court and call timeout with 2.1 seconds left.
