MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The fourth-seeded Barry Buccaneers trounced the fifth-seed Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters 5-1 in the second round of the NCAA Division II men's soccer tournament at Buccaneer Field on Saturday night.

- 10:25 - The Bucs got on the board first by demonstrating how dangerous they can be on set pieces. On the Bucs' first corner of the game, Oier Calvillo served a perfect ball into the box, finding the head of 6-5 Iker Berruezo who headed it into the back of the net. | Barry 1, LMU 0

NOTEWORTHY:
- Barry out-shot the 'Splitters 18-7, including 9-5 on goal.
- Rafael Furlani had four saves to earn his 13th win of the season.
- Dan Benedek Miklosi also had four saves, but gave up five goals to take the loss.
- Berruezo joined Polanco with multiple games of more than one goal. He scored two against Eckerd as well.
- Stoffle's brace made the third different Buccaneer to tally more than one goal in a game this season.
- The Bucs have won all three meetings with the Railsplitters in Miami Shores, while LMU won the only meeting in Harrogate.
ON THE HORIZON:
The Bucs will face the top-seeded Limestone Saints in the third round, after Limestone dispatched Clayton State 2-0 on Saturday.
