Varvara Osychenko powered the Barry University offense on Tuesday evening behind 16 kills on a .429 clip, adding 13 digs for a double double in the Buccaneers' 3-0 (25-21, 25-17, 25-12) setback at Lynn.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Set 1 - Lynn started the contest with the opening six points, and nine of the initial 10, to quickly boast a 9-1 advantage, fending off a late Barry that rallied that made it a one-point game at 20-19 with back-to-back scores.
- Set 2 - Barry used a 3-0 run early in the second set to get within one at 8-7 but were held without another run of consecutive points for the rest of the stanza.
- Set 3 - Lynn responded to a Buccaneer point to start the third set with seven-straight and kept the lead above five for the duration of the frame.
NOTEWORTHY:
- Osychenko led Barry in both kills and digs.
- Diana Akopova chipped in 10 kills with 10 digs and two service aces.
- Fiona Baker dished out 18 assists on top of a team-high eight digs.
