SUMMARY:

  • 8:15 - The Bucs scored the first of three goals in less than eight minutes on just their second shot of the game. The Bucs won a corner and played it short. Juan Simoniello sent the ball in from the left wing and found the head of Jordi Ramon. Ramon sent a flick off the crossbar and Juan Valiente was there to clean up the rebound. | Barry 1, ERAU 0
  • 10:31 - Nicolas Villalobos found the back of the net just two minutes later. Tyler Dobinson made a strong push up the right side and whipped a cross over to Villalobos whose first touch was a blast from 15 yards past Eagle keeper Thomas Loesel. | Barry 2, ERAU 0
  • 15:07 - Simoniello did it all himself in the 16th minute, stealing the ball from the defense at the top of the box and beating Loesel to the near post. | Barry 3, ERAU 0
  • 59:01 - In the second half, Juan Solorzano took the ball all the way to the end line and passed it back to Daniel Schaal just inside the box. Schaal chipped his shot over the ehad of Loesel | Barry 4, ERAU 0
  • 62:32 - Schaal made it happen on his own in the 63rd minute. He took the ball from Valiente at the top of the box and carried down to the endline, where he was fouled by Mattia Dabala. He calmly stepped up and hit the penalty shot. | Barry 5, ERAU 0
  • 63:50 - Pascal Sattelberger capped the scoring with a copy of Villalobos' goal from the first half. This time it was Valiente with the cross and Sattelberger used the right foot to boot it past Loesel. | Barry 6, ERAU 0

NOTEWORTHY:

  • The Bucs played three different keepers in the match, combining for the shutout. Nils Bueschler had three saves in 59 minutes to earn the win.
  • Matteo Torchio and Andres Jaramillo each played about 15 minutes. Torchio made a couple of nice saves, but Jaramillo did not face a shot.
  • Loesel stopped just three of the Bucs 11 shots on goal. He got big assist from defense in the 40th minute and the 76th minute. In the 40th, George Patey deflected a shot by Villalobos. In the 76th, Yamil Guana's shot beat Loesel, but Tom Shepherd was there to sweep it off the line.
  • Barry out-shot the Eagles 18-10, including 11-5 on goal.
  • The six goals are the most for the Bucs this year and the most since beating Eckerd 6-0 on Oct. 30 of last year.
  • It was just the second shutout for the Bucs this season, with both of them being split between multiple keepers.
