Game 1
- B1: The Bucs grabbed a lead in the first inning with a two-out rally. Ihosvany Castaneda tripled down the right field line and Joe broke the scoring ice with a single to center. Stella later scored on a double to right by Kevin Noriega. | Bucs 2, Sharks 0
- B2: Barry sent eight men to the plate and scored two more in the second. Sebastian Garrido bounced a lead-off single up the middle and went to third when David Vazquez doubled down the left-field line. Garrido scored on a ground out by Brandon Sanchez and Branden Abreu delivered Vazquez with a single up the middle. | Bucs 4, Sharks 0
- B3: It was more of the same in the third. Garrido walked and Vazquez chased NSU starter Daniel Rivero (5-3) with a double to right. Sanchez again brought in Garrido, this time with a sacrifice fly and Vazquez scored on a wild pitch by reliever Carlos Rey. | Bucs 6, Sharks 0
- B8: Steven Torres manufactured a run in the eighth. He shot a single through the left side and went to second with Rey toss to first eluded first baseman Adam Smith. He stole third and scored when catcher Alex Hernandez's throw sailed down the line. | Bucs 7, Sharks 0
NOTEWORTHY:
- Arrison Perez (3-4) went the distance to earn the win for the Bucs. He scattered five hits and struck out nine without issuing a walk.
- It was the first complete-game shutout for a Barry pitcher since Luis Deville blanked Eckerd 6-0 on Feb. 20, 2016.
- Rivero took the loss for the Sharks. He allowed six runs on nine hits and two walks in 2.1 innings.
- Castaneda led the Bucs at the plate with three hits, including a double and a triple.
- Stella and Vazquez each had two hits, with both for Vazquez going for doubles.
