ORMOND BEACH, Fla. -- The No. 6-ranked Barry Buccaneer women's golf team maintained their lead at the Sunshine State Conference Championship, shooting a 296 on Monday, Apr. 11 to take a four-stroke lead into the final round. Alice Götbring now hold sole control of the lead after shooting a 73 in round two.
The Bucs are joined at the invitational by nine other teams including No. 2 Lynn, No. 4 Nova Southeastern, No. 7 Rollins, No. 14 Saint Leo, No. 15 Tampa, No. 21 Florida Southern, and No. 41 Embry-Riddle.
NOTEWORTHY:
- The Bucs are tied for the lead in pars with 112 and second in birdies with 18.
- Nina Klug leads the field in pars with 29.
- Götbring and Giuliana Gomez sit in a tie for fourth in birdies with five each.
