MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneer softball team won their Sunshine State Conference series over the Saint Leo Lions, after splitting the doubleheader on Sunday, taking the first game 3-1, but falling 3-1 in the nightcap.

NOTEWORTHY:
- Germer went 1-for-5 with a homer and three RBI. She drove in three of the four runs on the day for the Bucs.
- Chamorro, Lee, and Maggie Wheless combined to go 6-of-10 for the Bucs in the twinbill.
- Maci Barnhart (10-2) got the win in game one of the day, allowing one unearned run and five hits in seven innings pitched, without walking or striking out any batters.
- Lee (2-4) took the loss in game two, despite not allowing a hit in 3.2 innings. She walked three and struck out two.
