- 1H - Landon Kirkwood hit a three-pointer on the Bucs' first possession, but the Tars then went on a 17-2 run led by seven points from Brooks Cluxton. Barry trimmed the lead to six, 25-19, on a pair of free throws from Jake Kakar with 5:47 left in the half. - 2H - Barry wasted little time flipping the margin in the second half, as the Tars went cold from the field. Barry opened the period on a 26-6 run, led by nine points from Michael Schaefer and six each from Kirkwood and Justinas Marcinkevicius. Another three-pointer from Anderson at 5:58 gave the Bucs a 13-point lead. The Tars cut it to eight points on free throws from Kyle Marion, but after a layup by Marcinkevicius with 1:47 left, the Tars never got under double-figures. NOTEWORTHY:
- It was another balanced night for the Bucs offensively, with Schaefer leading five players in double figures with 17 points.
- Kakar chipped in 14 points, while Marcinkevicius and Kirkwood each had 11 points and Anderson came off the bench with 12.
- Kyle led the Tars with 20 points and Yenor Hutton added 19. Cluxton added a double double with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
- Marcinkevicius match his career-high with 16 rebounds as the Bucs dominated on the boards 46-25, which led toa 21-4 edge in second-chance points.
- Barry also out-scored the Tars 42-32 in the paint.
- Barry shot a blistering 21-of-34 (61.8 percent) in the second half, while holding the Tars to just 9-of-33 (27.3 percent) shooting.
- The Tars, after two baskets from Yenor to start the second half, went just two for their next 17 shots from the field.
